TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TAKING PART IN ANY PROMOTION FROM
THE MAGPIE BOOKS SECURE INTERNET SITE ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB
When you supply your e-mail address to Magpie Books Secure, Magpie Books Publishing Pty Ltd ACN 084 215 583 will place your e-mail name in the draw for a complimentary luncheon for two at Hugo's at Bondi Beach NSW or The Church Street Pantry at Church Street Brighton VIC, whichever is the the closest restaurant to your home state.
Persons may enter the promotion by using an alias, pseudonym or virtual name.
On drawing the prize, the winning e-mail address will be notified of a unique PIN which will allow the prize to be claimed. The PIN number will be the date you browsed the Magpie Books Site. An entrant may only claim the prize once in any given month.
A winner to transfer the prize by giving the PIN to any other person.
The prize consists of food and drink to the total value of $50-00, for the winner and/or their partner. If when claiming their prize, more than $50-00 worth of food or drink is consumed, the winner is responsible and agrees to pay for all food and drink consumed over the value of $50-00 to the restaurant.
No part of any prize is refundable or transferable as cash.
The prize at the Church Street Pantry Brighton, Victoria can be taken at any time the Pantry is open. Its hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm seven days of the week. The prize at Hugo's Bondi Beach must be taken as a breakfast or luncheon meal on any Saturday or Sunday.
Winners will be notified by e-mail, sent to the e-mail address lodged at Magpie Books Secure at the time of registration. The prize must be claimed within FORTY EIGHT hours of the winner being notified. The meals may be consumed up to twelve months from the date of the e-mail, or the offer of the prize will be withdrawn.
The prize should be claimed by the person claiming the prize, telephoning the restaurant and advising they wish to claim the prize. A winner, confirming their e-mail address with the restaurant is now sufficient identification to claim the prize. For security reasons, all prizes must be claimed within FORTY EIGHT hours of the winner being notified by e-mail. Any prize not claimed within this period will lapse and the offer of the prize withdrawn.
Liability for goods or services arranged through Magpie Secure, unless otherwise prohibited by law, is limited to the market value of the prizes. In all cases, Magpie Secure acts as agent for the prize provider, and not as the principal.
